Vessel

It began with research on two geometric volumes: the torus and the cone. A number of iterative manipulations were made to each form to test their topological extents.

I decided to use the torus as the primitive for this project. I was then tasked with applying a move done to my favorite chess piece (see: A Family of Six). I chose to apply the scalloping to the vessel on both the exterior and interior at varying scales.
