Spaceports: Now and When

Spaceports: Now and When

The seminar largely consisted of the development of two boards. The first of these boards focused on an existing spaceport. I chose to look into the Uchinoura Space Center (UCS) in southern Japan. Much of the information and data was pulled from an extraordinary collection of information: Spaceports of the World.

The second board (below) focuses on the Momentum Exchange Tether, or skyhook. Though we're still a ways off from feasibly building such a system, it could be an early stage in making space travel more affordable for commercial, private, and public use.
